I heard you say, "Gotta get out of here.

This is not the type of place for me,

And I fear that if I stay my dreams may never come alive.

But, I'm afraid that if I leave I might forget your face

And this is not the time or place for me to decide,

Cause I just want to stay tonight and love you."



Tonight I'll give you all I've got

And I will not worry if it's right or if it's wrong

Cause this is the last chance to get you to love me

And if you don't, then I'm sorry to say, "Honey,

Maybe we were never meant to be together."



Don't make me wish I hadn't stayed

Don't make me feel less than I am

And, don't give me lip service

Cause this is easily broken
