Is there something that I can do

I remember how you said your heart was in a glass house

Therefore don’t fall into it with love because it could easily shatter

But you forgot to mention that a heart hurts in such a fortress



I won’t fall into it until you’re ready

I understand I’ve been there

Just hear me when I say, you gotta fight it

Cause I know from experience that it hurts to hide it

So until your heart finds a way to shatter its own walls

I”ll keep my eyes clearly focused on the prize



Don’t worry if it takes a long, long time

Cause I’ve got a whole lifetime to wait for you to come around

I pray that before me God’s grace can find its way into your heart

And if it doesn’t, just know I’ll wait up until the moment I die to love you
