On the road again
I found that this life's a surprise
A life can change in the blink of an eye
Or even with just the roll of the dice
We're fragile people
In a world of even more delicate things
Not even diamonds are permenant in wedding rings
And all along every decision surely comes with strings
I no longer know how to cry
And I live in a town where the street lights burn dim
Where, when even the widows weep, the children still grin
I guess I don't understand the way it is now and how it was back then
Your poems are so honest! It takes a strong person to write the honest truth. Great job so far.
