Curiosity killed the cat
Curiosity
You tripped over that mat
Fell into that trap
Hook like and sinker
Should have used your thinker
you little stinker
curiosity killed ya
sniff, sniff, puff, puff
sip, sip, what’s up?
Can’t get enough of that snuff and stuff
Curiosity makes you thin you were tough
Just one time, one try
Turned into a puppet
Stringed life on a dime
cats play with strings
your life is not a game
strung out, sung our
lights out!
You’re out!
Curiosity killed ya.
Fat cat all that
Pitter pat Big hat
Drop the ball roll the dice
Looking nice on a roll
Win once
Win twice
On a role
Woops
Got to pay the price
Curiosity ripped ya off
Curiosity killed ya
Curiosity told you to dance
Take a chance, take a glance
Just a look, all it took
To get you hooked on nothingness
Bareness oh yes!
Blink , blink eye balls glare
As you pant and stare
At fantasy
Virtual but not reality
Blink, blink,
sneak a peak
As your soul sinks
Standards fall
Numbing the call
Curiosity took it all
Curiosity tricked ya.
Curiosity killed the cat
Curiosity
You tripped over that mat
Fell into that trap
Hook line and sinker
Should have used your thinker
you little stinker
Curiosity killed ya!
On the contrary, hasn't
On the contrary, hasn't curiosity and inquisitivity begotten intelligence. I mean curiosity is your mind's way of defining its own individuality. The curious are the ones who long to discover and endeavor intrepidly through the uncharted territory of knowledge. After all Einstein once remarked, "I am not a genius, I am just curious. I ask many questions and when the answer is simple, then God is answering." I have always disliked this expression, so I guess i am biased; however, I still really enjoyed your poem.
I agree...but there is a
I agree...but there is a level of curiousity that is presumptuous, that defies the laws of nature and the law of God. Curiousity that is actually disobedience. Healthy curiousity lends to ambition and growth. But, that is not what I am referring to here. Thanks you for your reply.....I just saw it. lol!

Ouch!
So much for being curious - but awareness
is at times a saving grace
