Instead of trying to plea
I should just drop down to a knee
And tell you how much I love you
And ask "Will you marry me?"
When we walk down the isle
I would love to see you smile
It would make me happy
It would make it all worth while
When the kids get here
We'll chase away their fears
They will grow up strong
Their confusion will come clear
And when we grow old
We'll remember what we've been told
And pass it all on to them
In our hearts their lives we hold
When they move away
We'll of wished they would have stayed
Even though they were bugs
When they call it makes our day
When all is said and done
It was all good and fun
I would do it all again with you
When im with you I know your the one
When we finally die
We'll tell the kids goodbye
And how much we cared
And hope they dont dry their eyes
So instead of trying to plea
I will just drop down to a knee
Tell you how much I love you
And ask "Will you marry me?"
