For all of the above

I live for the air, the water, the fire.
For the thrill, the suspense, the desire.
For the things we make and the things we brake.
For the joy and the heartache.

For the living and the dead.
For the words not written nor said.
For what's now and what's to come.
For the insane and the dumb.

For the silly and the sassy.
For 'Narnia' and for 'Lassie'.
For the burden and the pain.
For the things we lose and the things we gain.

For the silver and gold.
For the stories we're told.
For the strong and gently minded.
For the rich and famously blinded.

For the good and the pretty.
For the country and the city.
For the beauty and the beast.
For the rabbi and the priest.

For the Gods themselves.
For the giants and the elves.
For life and its tragedies
For the music and its symphonies.

For all of the above, and so much more.
I live for love and everything it will endure.

Author's Notes/Comments:
