Porcelain Girl

Porcelain girl
Afraid in the world
Face painted with the most beautiful features

Picked up by a hand
who didn't understand
When he dropped her she shattered to pieces

A few month then passed
Till she was together at last
It took a lot of wishing

But everyone she met
could see straight away
A pieces of her was still missing

Through the hole
You could see into her soul
She poured everything she had into her pain

So nothing was left
Just a void in her chest
And she would never trust another person again

Covered with time
filled with wine
Her confidence slowly increases

Now In her display case she twirls
Saying "I'm just a porcelain girl,
If you drop me i'll shatter to pieces".

My mother was a rainbow

My father turned her grey

they loved me like a sky lantern

they watched me fly away
