His Hands Have Scars
His hands have scars
where your heart is now held
He keeps you close,
and reminds us how
we're loved beyond them,
because of them,
and through them.
His hands have scars.
Hebrews 13:5 . . . God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
Isaiah 49:15-16
Can a mother forget the baby at her breast
And have no compassion
On the child she has borne?
Though she may forget,
I will not forget you!
See, I have engraved you on the palms of My Hands;
Your walls are ever before me."
