i'll lock myself in
inside my room
so i wouldn't have to face
the monster wondering outside
scared and alone
i'm stuck in this room
she tempts me to come out
with her angelic features
than catches me
with her devilish ways
no one can see the evil within
evryone says she's such a good person
no one noes
about the thing she hides
the thing every one fears
the devil inside
you ask who she is?
do you really want to know?
who this creature is?
so i'll tell you who it is
who's got me locked up in this room
she is my mother
and der's nothing u can do
Hi , First please take a look into the mirror.
I see you've been blessed by Jayati Gupta critiques as well. If that's what you want to call them. I didn't like her views on my poems either. I thought they were very hurtful considering she didn't know the whole story.
I on the other hand, loved this poem. It makes complete sense and you do not need a mirror. Don't listen to her. Your poem is lovely and I'm going to bookmark your postpoems site so I can continue reading your wonderful poetry! :)
Keep up the good work, and don't take Jayati Gupta too seriously. I know I didn't and everything's working out just fine :)
