You hold your arms around me,

In the darkest of nights.

Your beautiful smile lets me see,

The quiet in the hardest of fights.

The smell of your perfume

Swirls around in my mind

While your touch I’ve assumed,

Makes my life seem too kind.

Your eyes pierce my soul,

Then serenades my heart,

Making me believe that we will,

Never be apart.

Then I opened my eyes,

To see my world left to die,

It’s been months and I am still so surprised.

Though not alone I am always without you,

Until I close my eyes and dream that it’s just us two.
