it’s never me, but always you

you take it all, and leave me with nothing

everything comes to you, when it goes from me



i don’t deserve this, so i’ll never have it

what i always wish it was will never come around

i want to change the path, so you’re included in it

but i know you’re not willing to mix yourself up with me



i wish i were you, you have everything

i’m left with nothing, so these eyes are closed

behind closed eyes and behind closed doors

i'd open the door, but you wouldn't enter

even if you wanted to
