Or almost, seems to travel in slow motion.
I knew I was in for trouble,
Such furtive glances always sank below
And I felt his jealousy-
And my demise.
I watched you sit

A social butterfly, were you
Caught in the wind
Untamed and free
But the woman's intuition-
The dire need,
To delight and transform
But your wings were too full.
How could I ever think
That you could ever take wind
And take into consideration the love
That could have burrowed within
Regretting and regressing
