On this night I’ll make you say you love me

On this day I’ll trust the words you say

In this time my love  will last forever

And never will this feeling fade away

Children needn’t worry of tomorrow

Or think of were they’ll be in just a year

Candy can remove their drops of sorrow

And all the things in life to them are clear

I understand you’re scared but it’s okay

Perhaps you have been hurt to much to try

But I want you more with every passing day

So please don’t be afraid of you and I

Every question’s answered if you ask it

In every single thought of me and you

And every time you push away your feelings

You’ll still be showing them in what you do



Once upon a time the world was different

Once upon a day I never knew

Once upon a night our roles were changed

And I was scared when I was telling you

Despite the words I spoke I was surprised

These past few years I’ve dreamed and wished for you

But never till this night had I realized

That dreams and wishes really do come true

You shimmer when you’re not afraid to shine

You glimmer when you’re not afraid to glow

You glisten in this glossless heart of mine

So never be afraid of what you know

‘tis not enough to hold you for a moment

Nor a month, nor a little half a year

I merely long to hold you for a lifetime

And have eternity to keep you dear
