Solitude's Savior

Shimmering silently screaming out loud

Fighting emotion I’m secretly proud

The acting is over the play is complete

But I still refuse to succumb to defeat

My hand is bleeding but no ones around

I face my seclusion and fall for the ground

In violent response the wind rushes by

Hoping to calm the nerves of the sky

Failing to do so the rain starts to pour

As we both beat emotion on earth’s muddy door

The lightning flashes I’m startled to see

The storm and the wind has fallen with me

Solitude’s savior found me that day

Helped me up and showed me the way

I can not repay this goddess in gold

She only takes payment in friendship I’m told.

I really like this poem. I think my favorite line is "As we both beat emotion on earth’s muddy door". It's so vivid! Your words make it so easy to picture what you're talking about. I really like the last stanza a lot as well. Great stuff!
