In A Little While
In a little while,you are at our doorsteps,
greeting me again, the same smile on your face.
I ran to your arms, as we locked in our embrace,
the same cologne, touched my senses.
In a little while, you tell me your story,
good or bad, you end up never sorry.
At the end of the day, you come home to me,
to rest and play, with some wine and some cherries.
And in a little while, the sun starts to shine,
and life moves on, so real and true.
As I wake up from a dream, always recurring,
and I am back again, alone with the living.
