i am with you
through the visions
and hallucinations
through the prayer circles of closed doors
and the womb-grave of another botched sunset come in through blind windows
i am with you through the dog parks
and the unfilled apartment parks
and the highways which go out of this town held to the earth by human machines in machines that move at night like visions of light
admired from purgatorial porches and other hells’
maniacs
through the hallucinations
and the poetry
which goes endless like a human soul
so the body spreads out its carapace-form in kisses and bottles and yelling inside rented spaces
and you dream endless
and wake up endless to mistake for a heartless heaven
a hospital room
i am with you through the sinkholes that eat houses
the fires that eat houses
the people that share cigarettes between fire
burning needlessly on either end
but brightly, endlessly,
the people who eat other people
the people who eat without sin
people who eat without us
the tits and lips of our bodies
opening and opening and opening
through eyes that look
or no longer look
eyes dug into bombed faces
opening like landmines
to darkened subterranean rooms
i am with you through the images and delusions
that hold our breath like commas
and then we wear them like daidems
i am with you through what otherly god-touching
may in instant after instant bridge firmament and lit filament between your human/cosmos thereafter
laid beneath you, moments
in-between more moments of the waking eye
in which times we each behold the other
pouring as down an hourglass
the dirt inside our lungs.
