When we try to color our thoughts
In words, and send them to papers, to people,
Do we then lay our reveries to sleep?
Or is it the other way round,
That they are the ones
Who leave us in dreams?
Author's Notes/Comments:
Okay, call me a romantic and a nostalgic at heart, but this is what I have to say concerning writing. We're sometimes told that writing our thoughts is the most potent remedy when we want to be released from nostalgia, from dreams that may not hope to become real...but I found that those very same thoughts get written in the heart as well..they release themeselves, not us. They become part of the scars, not the remedy.
This is so true ya Mayo! The things we write down, the things we talk about, the things we sing about are the things that last. I never forget any story I tell. It's the untold stories that fade away.
This, although short, is a sweet piece.
Keep shining, dear ;)
