A letter of convinience

Don't think I'm a coward, for writing this letter.

For I would have said this to your face.

It is merely a matter of time and place.

You see my dear, this is a letter of convenience.

To inform you where we stand.

In fact me and you are a casual thing,

I do not wish to take your hand.

Now i look fondly upon are times spent and hope we can remain friends.

Hopefully in time are friendship will make amends.

Please refrain from sending me letters, for i am now engaged.

Your not the marrying kind sweetie, you can't roam free when your

caged.

I'm glad i wrote you this letter,

It's such a weight off my mind.

Now i can look to my future and leave are relationship behind.
