Self Infliction of addiction

Tell me your secrets,Tell me your lies.

Staring in those pretty eyes, I'm instantly hypnotized.

hanging on your every word, dangling from your string.

Conforming, your my puppeteer.

Your my everything.

The chains that bind, are hard to leave behind.

The whispered words of dishonesty, still ingrained in my mind.

So walking out the door may seem like a good idea,

but whats the point?

I know ill be back within the year.

I'm addicted to your love.

I'm addicted to your skin.

I'm addicted to the words and lies you use to take me in.

I'm an honest woman and your my only sin.

my self infliction of addiction and my everything.

I like the rhythm; it is not difficult to interpret your emotions. Your symbolism ensures that you are giving your readers firm grasp of the main theme.
It is an entertaining poem, plenty of erotic undertones.
It is "tempête à la a'mour," you are weathering the turbulence.

Love and lust, they are different sides of the same coin.
Love can be elusive, beautiful and confusing. I write about love constantly. Love is the lubricant of life's daily grind. If not for love, nothing could have been created. If not for love, nothing would ever be destroyed.
Men especially young men are living a machismo, where they will openly admit that they will "cheat on my girlfriend, but I'd never betray my friends!" Maybe, the hip-hop/rap genre is complicit. Maybe not, after all those genre are art too.

It can be difficult to discern how some people can be so uncaring.

"One of the best results of life, is the torment of love"

Dylan Eliot
