I feel so scared and alone
You have left us now
You feel no more pain
But I am overwhelmed with it
I feel more alone with you gone
But I know that you are up there watching over me
You are now in the air I breath,
The wind that blows,
The rain that falls
I still miss you
I try and think of the good times, but
They overwhelm me and bring tears
Your arms will never wrap me in safety again
Reminding me how alone I am
They say each day it will get easier and pain is less
I pray it is true.
