Lost in a world so dark
Searching the night
To scared to reach out
Into the night she had crawled
Alone and scared
Looking towards the heavens
Waiting for those long forgotten promises
He came out of no where
Touching her soul
Lifting her head
His eyes she sees
So dark
So full of life
His smile warmed her inside
Taking her in his arms
Finally safe at last
But was she
The questions began to swim
Searching again
This time not towards the heavens
But towards him
Waiting...
Aching to know
Is he the one
Is she going to have to wait til the end
Will he ever open his eyes
And know it is HER he is holding
