Lookin up at him she begged him
please take this knife and finish what you have started
Looking down at her, such hate in his eyes
he pushed the blade in deeper
watching the blood trickle down her breast
with each empty promise
with each hateful lie
the blade went in deeper
finally unable to take the pain
closing her eyes
she fell onto the floor
laying there still hearing his voice
she wondered how soon it'd be over
how much longer til the end was here
his harsh words echoing in here head
the beat of her once beautiful heart slowing
she draws in her last breath
one last look at him
then darkness finally comes
freedom finally here
no more lies
no more empty promises
her soul set free
finally at rest
