I am from cars driving over a dirt road
And kids riding their bikes on the sidewalk.
I am from trips to the lake
And swimming in grandma's pool
I am from Ana and Roberto,
And the names Nani and Pichi
I am from a house, which smells of soup at noon
And of empanadas in the evening
Where all my forget-me-nots
are kept in a pink box.
