I guess I don't understand the concept of poetry these days, because this doesn't seem very poetic in any sense of the word. The titles of the poems and reading this "stars and democrats" "poem" leads me to belive that this is more a statement than a poem. I could be wrong... it's just not moving, flowing nor does it tell a story or make a real point, one has to research in order to figure it out... I think it is a slam and would better be served in a blog for pro democrats who hate bush and have no other political stance, like the democrat running for president now
