Will You Know Christ as Lord?

Probing Questions How much time do you have left, before you take your final breath?
And as you take that last breath, will you enter life or eternal death?
As life winds down do you know, on what side of eternity you will go?
As this life takes you to and fro, is your final destiny one you know?
John wrote his epistle for us to know, where at in eternity we will go.
Christ said don’t be troubled friend, for He’s coming back in the end,
He’s coming back to take us home, and never again to aimlessly roam.
He prepared a room for you and me, in His Father’s house in Eternity.
Paul spoke of a trumpet sound, when all believers will leave the ground.
All Christians will be without a care, when we meet The Lord in the air.
At that moment we shall be changed, never again will we be the same.
We will be given a glorified body, to be with Christ through all Eternity.
Salvation was on the heart of Jude, but felt a need to write about Truth,
That we need to contend for the faith, pointing to God’s saving Grace.
And only those found in Jesus Christ, will indeed enter into Eternal Life.
All who deceive the heart of men, by Christ Himself will be condemned.
John, who was very close to Christ, had written much on Eternal life.
His words are meant to assure, Eternal Life for all who know The Lord.
Peter wrote that this present earth, by The Lord would soon be purged,
And God has given us a New Birth, to live holy lives upon this earth.
With our hope upon Christ our Lord, our life upon earth can be as pure.
Much is written, there’s no doubt, for us to know what life is all about,
Especially about that time my friend, when this life comes to an end.
So when your life here is no more; will you know Jesus Christ as Lord?
