The Dawn

Midnight sky

Wondering why

I ponder still

Thy infinite will

Daring

Roaming

I look for a sign

Walking the edge

Seeking the Divine

Capturing the Horizon

A moment in time

No more I dreed

Exhilarating

Refreshing

Catches my breath

Warm are the rays

That lay on my chest

A peaceful morning

Shines on my face

Stillness

Quiet

Slowly embraced

Caressing my skin

My face

Brightly dim

Savor the warmth

The colorful sky

Closing my eye

Questions no more

I forever am dancing

In the light of the dawn

Lauri-WOW!!! I fancy myself as a bit of a poetry buff myself.
This was a fantastic poem,I tend to write more personal poetry myself because I believe the best poems are ones from your life's experiences or a special moment or even just how you feel at a certain moment, Some of my writing is somewhat theraputic for me

I would not change a thing I beleive a good writer, poetry or otherwise is one who does not need to stretch for the words one who just lets the words come naturally then maybe afterwards go back and change some of them, because of course writers are also their own worst critics professional or ones who do it as a hobby or both.

Thank you for the chance to read some of your work..
