I remember the day we met
Our hearts intertwined
My hand on yours
Your hand on mine
You opened my eyes
You brought me to life
You taught me to love
You taught me to fight
I remember we danced
It was just you and me
No one else even knew
We were so meant to be
Before you I was empty
There was no one inside
I was just so invisible
Never even had to hide
A smile touches my lips
As I feel everything inside
The next time we meet
I’ll feel more and more alive
