I sit back

and watch her in pain

she has nothing to loose

she has nothing to gain

she doesnt take any chances

she makes no choices on her own

it kinda seems to me

like her heart is all alone

i wish that i could help

but i know it will do no good

i really wanna help her

but even if i tried, like everyone else

she'd push me away

if only she wouldnt do that

she'd be better off today

sometimes it really hurts me

to see her live that way

so behind on all her bills

she has no way to pay

but i know she's really strong

and i know life is rough

but mom i have to tell you...

barely liveing isnt good enough!
