What I want you to know about me...

Was raised in Trenton, NJ, Irish American and proud of my heritage, worked as a psychiatric social worker for 36 years in a state facility and retired a year ago. Started writing when I was a kid and had stopped for many years but started again when I retired. Love poetry and consider myself very much an amateur at it but it helps me have an outlet for my feelings. Never married, my career was pretty much my life. Love the outdoors, especially water and the sky, love to read and love music. Wanted to be a comedic actress until I turned 16 and decided I wanted to work with the mentally ill instead.

About My Navel

She is small and internal, pretty for a belly button but now that I am older and fatter, she is not so readily visible.
