Stillness

In His Calm, in His Stillness,

I rest.  And my life pauses.

I concentrate my Solitude;

His Majesty, becomes Man's gratitude.

The earth too is paused, hushed, awaiting

in Vespers of eternal Thanksgiving.

For all of which He provides us

there are no words, but "Stewards".

Day is night, night is day.

Grief and Love never pass away.

My "Why?" is not eternally unanswered;

in Somewhere all loss will be assuaged.

In His Stillness, in His Calm,

I rest, giving my life to Him.

Often I have been to this place of which you speak....
An introspection for the meek.
I know not what nor where nor how,
But to my knees I humbly bow

'Tis there that sorrows ease away,
My Lord draws near me when I pray.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU, MY FRIEND!
