Torch Song, a.) Love Again, enfolded Sonnet

May 8.  Acc. removed the linkage to "b."  (tetrameter)

I hope my heart stays strong, unbreakable.

I venture where I'll need strength:

pain past tears could be my fate

I've tried before, but I was a failure;

the race of Hearts must yet be run.

Sometimes numb, afraid to move; if I ache,

may it be brief!!

We went so high!!  Oh!, how remarkable!!

In attaining Heaven we succeeded,

even after we thought it too late!

There is a chance for Love, I'm sure,

and we'll have courage when it's done,

so we can bring new life to Love;

so Love can bring us back to Life!

Oh!, let   ME   love again!!

Author's Notes/Comments:

Print out part (a), then part (b), and put the dotted lines together for a double-sonnet.
