Sonnet~ 34# Instant in Love, on "Sonnets From The Portugese" , topic:

          WHAT ARE KISSES?

I kiss the air, thy dearest place here before me

where last I saw thy face, freshly tasted thy lips.

Oh!, "Fates", sendest thou "Remind", but to torture me!?

Oh!, "Remind" takest hold in the pleasantest of grips!

Never doth thine Air get "kiss-sufficed"; this I know!

But as oft as "Remind" doth come, so oft "kiss" I thy face!

So "Remind" feedeth "Remind", and fuller, SO full, doth grow!,

as "Needs" rekindle "Passions" and "Solitude" feeds on "Grace".

Thy memory---like this air---maketh me insatiable!

Panteth my heart for thine as doth for breath my lungs.

My satiety in thy beautiful Graces lasts, unforgettable!

Thy savors and tastes of Love satisfy all my Love's tongues!

(CODA extended:)

So, who doth answer the question titled before? ::

"What Are Kisses?", and "What Are Kisses For?"

I DO!!  I'LL  answer the query I did first implore ::

"Where Went My Kisses!?":: "To Thine, Forevermore!"

Author's Notes/Comments:

The ideas don't all come at once.  The extension is labeled "coda", just to keep it a Sonnet.
