The little temptation, to which it would've been so easy to yield,

but You showed me a better way for me to stay within Your purpose,

an easier way to real victory which was a blessing in disguise.



There IS a purpose, a Higher Goal, in everything coming to me through You.

And You promise that if I always do my best and let You make my every choice;

it will be a blessing in disguise.



I do not need to know every footstep, all the little turns and pauses

occurring along my path, but I only need to commit to You

my destiny, my hopes, my dreams, and let You turn each one

into a blessing in disguise.



I consider that You died for me, and that You see into the deep heart

of my true life and reality, and that You desire only my best,

and if I allow You to, You will show me blessings in disguise.



I am in awe that my very soul is so transparent to Your loving eyes.

My desire succumbs to the insistence of Your Perfect Will and Righteousness.

My heart yearns to know more of You and of Your blessings in disguise.



My spirit, ALL that I am, worships You.  My finite will dissolves in Your Infinite.

My soul searches the depths of Your Wisdom,  only to know  Yours will more.

My memory is filled with the light and truth of Your many blessings in disguise.



      You've given me music when I least expected it,

      You've brought me harmony when I most needed it,

      You've written my melody when I least deserved it,

      Your Rhapsody!!--EVERYWHERE I listen, I hear IT!!

      The very worst that this world can give

      You've turned into my blessings in disguise!!
