Abide in innocence, our Darling, our Sweet.

We know that Heaven  awaits you,

& that we’ll be together there.

There we’ll walk with you, on the golden street.

When the angels someday take you,

God will greet you,

& we’ll NOT be apart,  forever.



Here, from us a precious part

of you was kept by  God;

but  He  gave you an extra tenderness

for us, especially,  from His heart

given in a way that only He could:

not everyone thinks these gifts are good,

but because of you, life has been specially blessed.



Abide in innocence, our Darling, our Sweet.

We’ll not be apart forever.
