O, Child of Promise, I promise you:

I'll share God's Promise of a future true;



I'll pray for the sure continuance

of your sweet life, in innocence;



I'll come up to the edge of MY world

to enter over the edge of YOUR world;



I'll pray for Peace which God assures,

and act to bring the end of ALL wars;



I'll reach you, touch you, feed you, hold you,

and teach you, clothe you, heal you, love you!



I promise that The Promise shan't die;

which Promise is God's, and is you and I.



You boys and girls of Promise shall become

men and women, my brothers and sisters, all as one;



We're bound together in Community,

Unity, Christian Love, and harmony.
