You just couldn't take it:
The laughter, the innocence,
Their carefree nature...
And your rage grew greater; oh
What sorrow you would make begin!
Always wanting more
Than what could be given,
And the demon clawed its
Way out from within.
Seeing the blood that day,
Coat the grass with dark red...
In your eyes grew a lust
That just couldn't be
Composed for any sense,
And to take advantage
Of what was lost, now
That was a definite must.
Black-hearted your feelings
Sting like acid as you
Tear away the lives of
Others, and innocence.
You wrack it, demolish, mutilate
And leave no merciless acts behind.
Such disgust you must see
In just the way that they
Smiled, and you had to have it.
Cut away youth, silence
The laughter and let the
Life drain down....
You ravish in the sweet
Rotting scent of decay,
and you shudder from
Light of any set day.
You took their lives without
Remorse, not a thought saved.
And as you look back onto
That day you smirk at something
Again and you've gotten away.
