I'm scared you'll leave me

I'm scared you'll go disappear

So I won't get to close

resist the promises you whisper in my ear



I've been hurt too many times

I can't take anymore pain

So even though I love you too

I'm going to keep pushing you away



I know I need to move on

Forget the times my heart has been broken

But it's not so easy to do

So my love goes unspoken



Maybe on day

You'll get me to open up

To tell you how I feel

To give you all my love



But for now

The walls aren't coming down

Because I can't take the pain

If you decide not to stay around.
