On the cherry wood floors
We'd stare into the flames
I recall the scent of winter
your lips I, just the same
Window to our mornings;
fastened tightly in my arms
The blinds divided sunrise
Passion smothered the alarm
Without a living moment
unless working otherwise
The view was never dull, Dear
when gazing through your eyes
But, now this is my bus bench
Yes, I'm just another fool
to think- winter lasts forever
Still, I'm deeply missing you
and, now it's into autumn
nearing closer to the days
the memory of lovers
thats never been erased
