Do you know what it's like

To dream a dream

A dream in which

You don't quite dream



You lay and think

And think in sleep

It's not quite dream

But thinking deep



And when you wake

It seems as though

You have gone somewhere

You didn't go



Cause when you dream

You sleep so well

But thinking deep

You sleep like hell



You wake your weak

You feel like death

Your muscles hurt

And out of breath



The hours drag on

Throughout the day

Until at last

In bed you lay



You fall asleep

And dream all night

And Awake refreshed

You've slept just right
