YING AND YANG
---------------------
Ying and Yang
Controlling,
Balancing the world,
Attracting each other,
Leading to an orgiasmic union.
A male pigeon cooing to his mate,
A man tying the knots with his bride,
The beauty of light after darkness,
The Sun and the Moon,
Black and White;
Two dynamic inseparable opposites
That bring vitality to the world,
Giving inspiration to the Chinese theory
Of the negatives and positives
Binding the universe;
The balancing of energies
Needed for euphoria;
The primary principle for
Nature's well being.
LOVE
-------------------------
Love sweeps through the world
Like a typhoon striking every heart
Bringing joy to our existence,
Tears to our eyes,
Pains to our bossom,
And strength to our faith
Will and convictions.
Love are the varied shades
That motivate the artist
To brighten up his canvas
Marvelling the world with his strokes.
Take away love and the world
Is plunged into total darkness,
Bleak and drenched of feelings.
Love is such a wonderful thing
That the universe could not
Help but greet it with a Big Bang
When it came into being

THE MONKEY
I remember when I was only two and curious
At writing, had set on the blackboard in the
Kitchen, started scribbling with a chalk,
Aunty startled, laughed and complimented:
"Clever Boy, your writings are so good."
Since then my days have been filled
With letters and figures, the stars, moon,
And the seas, my little brain going
Everywhere. "One thing at a time, John,
Don't bite more than you can chew. Don't
Run before you can walk," aunty chided.
The world tumbles through my life like
A train carrying myriad passengers,
Each a different facet of a diamond
That makes this world sparkle with
Brilliance. "Yes, John, there is beauty
In each of us, in fact everything, if we
Learn the ropes to get to them," Aunty
Suggested pointing to a monkey throwing
A coconut from a tree to its owner.

A TRIANGLE
Your whole being is now
A pain to my heart
A million needles that come
Visiting everytime
I accidentally bump
Into both of you
Hurting, weakening
And throwing me into a
State of gloom and confusion
Your steady mind soothing eyes
Which robbed my soul
Your musculine hands that
Once held me so tight
And the endless inspiring nightly
Walks we had along the
City's maze of roads
Are now but an anguish
Rocking me to endless
Tears in the dead of nights
