Walking down a road kicking a stone

Lost in a world where I am alone

Then one day the skies turned from gray to blue

Why they did I hadn't a clue

Then on one special day

I met you down by the bay 

We've been good friends ever since

When we kissed you didn't even wince

Now my days are feeling brighter

Every time we hug it seems you hold on tighter

I am thankful for that day
