E.W.

Laying here, staring out the window

Watching the rain fall

Yet, the sun is shining in my head

Looking across the road, at a place you once called home

Now these memories fill my heart

They take me away,

To a place inside, where I relive those days

Sitting in grass, behind the shade

Who know these memories would last

We grew up too fast,

Now we're falling

and there's nothing to catch us

Falling slowly like a dream

It never what it seems.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Something I found in an old notebook. I just thought I would post something since it's been some time since my last post.
