A reverie

I cautiously took those winter steps as

The pitter-patter of your feet mark tracks in the snow.

My mind races through bare branched trees,

Desperately searching for something beautiful.

Everything around you is suppose to be beautiful.

Yet like blood dripping from porcelain eyes,

I found the harshest reality in the

most pretentious of places.

I want to run through those icy rivers

as if I have something to run to.

Take me with you

to the dry sunset and reddish eyes

We are back in Toyko, London, Paris.

We are back in timeless ecstasy.

I have to be yours forever to kiss me delighted,

so love didn't matter another day.
