Tears and empty walls

Silence calls and emptiness echoes

Loneliness flows deep

Into solitude filled seas

Carried on excluded breezes

If life’s worth living

Why won’t life live me

If love I have

It should have me

If we’re together

Is together meant to be

Because the emptiness

Takes a hold of me

Eating insides out

Gasping to breathe

Taking in wispy breaths

Then, drawn out sighs

Here at home

My loneliness never hides

But, it resides here

Accompanied by tears

And empty walls

Here silence calls

And it knows me…
