Bubblegum Romance

unfold the pages of a story like a silver grey gum wrapper

forget the outer layer and lay your jaw on the filling

how does it taste in your mouth, your tongue, your buds

did you ever think how i taste, as i lay on the floor

i am your wrapper, your safeguard

your fall back and or rebound boy

but i am also a wrapper, a coating

better things to come, just peel me aside

but please, put me in your pocket

we can do this again sometime
