awaiting the sunset
i lie back in the grass
as the sun dips
through clouds and hill tops
and departs for its rest
perfectly still in my spot
i wish the sun sweet dreams
because i know i will not have sweet anything
especially dreams
and my night will not even be near good
as i wish the sun goodnight
