The moon is my eraser

on this perfect spring night.

As I stare out my window

all troubles leave my sight.



I only live in this moment,

only feel what is now and here.

I love everything around me,

for once, I never shed a tear.



For this moment I am happy,

in this time I'm at peace.

I smile without a reason,

and seldom do I breathe.



I imagine an ocean,

that's empty and calm.

A place of deep reflection,

where nothing seems wrong.



A crescent moon above me,

and stars that fill the sky.

The misty air to soothe me,

there are no questions why.



Only me and this night,

and the crescent moon above.

That fills my heart with joy,

and an odd feeling of love.
