I've waited so many years,

for the dream I thought would come true today.

But when one thing changed,

that dream began to fade away.



When I lay here and I wonder,

what could've been.

If we just changed our thoughts,

and our daily trend.



Maybe something would've caused,

something so great to occur.

That would've changed the result,

and made everything better for sure.



So when this dream dissapeared,

in the universe so far away.

My heart broke in two,

which I feel still today.



But beyond the darkened skies,

of sadness and despair.

There is a bright shining light of hopes and dreams,

which I will experience someday, somewhere.
