Insanity,
The grey trait of humanity.
It’s the thought that I may not be perfect,
It’s the feeling of vanity.
But what if someone saw you in a different light,
One oh so bright?
What would you do,
Would you be their knight?
I would run a million miles if that’s what it took,
Like they have in all the colouring books.
I would do anything and everything to be there when they fall,
I’m so god damn hooked.
Take my hand,
I won’t make your life bland.
I won’t ever give up,
United like two lonely strands.
All I wanna be somebody to you,
Every time I talk to you I don’t feel so blue.
I don’t care about what anyone else says,
Because I’ve never met someone so true.
I know that I don’t know you,
But what I would do to do.
Sometimes you feel it within your soul,
I’d risk it all for you.
I’d rather crash and burn,
Then never have your love to yearn.
You just gotta believe in me like I believe in you,
Maybe one day I’ll learn.
I’d sail the seven seas.
I’d let myself freeze.
I’d give it my all,
For you I’d get on my hands and knees.
The stars will light the way,
I believe in one day.
I might be crazy,
But something like this you can’t delay.
