The Tower

The wind blows

The storm gathers

And makes display of incredible power

I tremble not

Standing on the edge of an uncertain future

The life I've known to leave behind

I tremble not

A force two hundred strong stand ready for my words

My judgement will be their task

I tremble not

To stand alone

And protect one's heart from the light cast by a dirty lense

To defy the ignorant vast

To acknowledge the ignorant self

Behind carefully stacked walls

I tremble not

Her eyes look to meet my eyes

Her mind looks to meet my mind

I tremble

Nothing life threw at you

Nothing life threw at you could break you . . . until you looked into her eyes.

A stirring, timeless sentiment. Loving it!
